The Frontier sports a 310-horsepower V6 that gets 281 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain drives a payload of 1,620 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 7,150 pounds, which is an increase from the 2024 model. The 2025 Frontier features standard trailer sway control and a front skid plate, with the option to add a two-speed transfer case.
This truck gives you 24 highway miles per gallon. You can get the Frontier with either a 5′ bed with a volume of over 40 cubic feet or a 6’1″ bed that can hold more than 49 cubic feet of cargo. Both options come with four standard tie-down anchors, with available upgrades like a spray-in bedliner and the Utili-track Channel System. Both 16-inch and 17-inch wheels are available. Running boards and a retractable rear step offer easy access to the cab and bed.
Cab Space and Equipment
Depending on the trim, the 2025 Frontier has room for four or five. Standard features include push-button start and cloth upholstery.
