The Frontier sports a 310-horsepower V6 that gets 281 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain drives a payload of 1,620 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 7,150 pounds, which is an increase from the 2024 model. The 2025 Frontier features standard trailer sway control and a front skid plate, with the option to add a two-speed transfer case.
